| The inspiration for my style of shooting can be summarized best by the father of modern photography Henri Cartier-Bresson. He coined the phrase "the decisive moment" and published a photography book under that title. He states, "There is a creative fraction of a second when you are taking a picture. Your eye must see a composition or an expression that life itself offers you, and you must know with intuition when to click the camera. That is the moment the photographer is creative... The Moment! Once you miss it, it is gone forever." Raised in Memphis and schooled in New York , I now resides in Los Angeles when I am not traveling and exploring the world with my camera. I hold two degrees in photography and have ten years experience teaching on the subject from New York University, Columbia University, and The New York Institute of Photography. My artwork is exhibited internationally and held several collections including The Saatchi Gallery in London, The Chicago Art Institute, and The Museum of The City of New York.
